Today, I officially quit 'the grocery game.' I gave it a go for 2 months and just couldn't hang. From now on, I will deal with the frustration and pledge my allegiance to walmart and thank them for their low prices.
ERIN--you are awesome and I give you mad props for gaining savings of over 60%...sorry to quit on you.

No hard feelings Vanessa...It is a nice idea to think that I could really be a super wife (or amazing wife, Thomas) except for the fact that playing the grocery game really is like playing a game for me...as ridiculous as that sounds. So my motives for saving money aren't always the purest, but nevertheless, my gaming has helped our budget while allowing me the joys of feeling like I am beating the "system".
I read Prov 31 the other day in a version (I think NLT) that said "she looks for a bargain" and thought of Erin. I guess we can't all be the ideal woman like Mrs. Deatherage, but we can aspire.
